Traditional Beers

Enjoy our tradition

Brewing a beer rich in tradition and putting all our dedication and passion into it: That’s one of the most beautiful ways of showing that for our master brewers brewing beer is not merely a job but a true vocation. From one generation to the next they have continued to evolve this art. With us, you’re not merely enjoying a beer, you’re also enjoying the tradition that comes with it.

Tucher Urbräu Hell (Pale Lager Beer)

A beer bottle and a full glass stand beside hops sprigs on wood.

At the beginning of every tradition there is true passion. Our Tucher Urbräu Hell, brewed for generations according to the original handed-down recipe, stands for that. The ‘Tradition’ hops from the Hallertau hop-growing region lend our Urbräu Hell a fine bitter note while selected light malts ignite a brilliant range of colours in the glass and create a full-bodied taste with a mild, slightly sweet note on the palate.

Tucher Pils

A beer glass and a bottle sit on a wooden table, surrounded by hop branches.

is with pride that we look on our magnificent city of Nuremberg with its hop tradition to brew a distinctive beer according to the Pilsen brewing method. Selected types of hops, such as the famous Hallertau aromatic hops ‘Tradition’, and the soft water from our own well create a finely bitter pils with an intensive hop bouquet, in true Nuremberg spirit.

Tucher Urfränkisch Dunkel (Dark Beer)

A dark beer bottle stands next to a full glass of beer on a wooden table.

We brew our Tucher Urfränkisch Dunkel with a flair for special malts. Its secret is the well-balanced combination of malts: Tucher Urmalz and Tucher Röstmalz. The result is a typical Franconian dark beer with a fiery dark taste and hints of roast flavours. This beer was enjoyed in the olden days and is still enjoyed in Franconia today.
